NV - Classic Rock & Roll

NV is a cover band that was established by Jeff Claypool and Rich Murphy in October 2007. Our idea was to create an authentic Classic Rock & Roll band that plays music primarily from the 60's, 70's and 80's with the zeal and gusto you can only enjoy from people who lived and played the music when it was new and fresh.

Jeff and Rich assembled the best talent from the area with a 'vision' of a 'true' show atmosphere, using period-correct equipment and a sound system that delivers original recording quality along with special effects. A professional sound engineer, Gary Fulton, keeps everything running through each performance. Jeff and Rich are joined by Kinny Landrum, Russ Wilson and Dan Kelley. Several band members of NV have played and/or toured with Greg Allman, Robert Palmer, Chrissy Hynde and the Pretenders and Ritchie Blackmore and Rainbow.

The band has been performing an average of two shows per month, with growing attendance at each performance; it is common to see 300-plus people in the audience, both young and old at each show.

The NV stage is setup with elaborate special stage extensions and exotic lighting. The band has spent many hours developing arrangements of Top-10 hits from each decade - Each song will have you singing & dancing all night and will take you back to the time of true classic rock.

If you are a fan of Classic Rock music you are in for a special treat while attending an NV performance. Be prepared for a real concert experience and a night you'll remember!
